Floral Divinity

Hi,

I am an ameture photographer however waiting to become a pro. Here are a few fotos that i captured during my date with the lalbagh on 27th of January..

Here is something that you need to know about the lal bagh. The garden has over 1,000 species of flora. The Glass House, modeled on London's Crystal Palace (now re-modelled with a different layout), is the center of attraction. Hyder Ali laid out these famous botanical gardens and his son added horticultural wealth to them by importing trees and plants from several countries. The Lalbagh Gardens were commissioned by the 18th century and over the years it acquired India's first lawn-clock and the subcontinent's largest collection of rare plants. The garden also has trees that are over 100 years old.

A Poem, a Prayer, a Sunflower...
Nature knows no conflict, no contradiction, no waste.
The religious or spritual life begins therefore not
with any dogma or belief, but rather with the deeply held
intention to live a life without conflict,
Contradiction or waste.....

The world’s like a flower

Either fallen or grownThe leaves cover secretsAnd the pedals are shown
We're like a flower

a flower for a flower

the flower that will never wither or sour

Flower

Pluck this little flower and take it, delay not! I fear lest it droop and drop into the dust. I may not find a place in thy garland, but honour it with a touch of pain from thy hand and pluck it. I fear lest the day end before I am aware, and the time of offering go by.

Though its colour be not deep and its smell be faint, use this flower in thy service and pluck it while there is time.

Rabindranath Tagore

Do not go to the garden of flowers!
Do not go to the garden of flowers! O Friend ! go not there; In your body is the garden of flowers.
Take your seat on the thousand petals of the lotus, and there gaze on the Infinite Beauty.

Kabir

Flowers are the sweetest things God ever made, and forgot to put a soul into.
